Located in the heart of Boston, Simmons College encompasses the many benefits of a small university in the nation's best "college town." While the phrase ransformative moment might be overused in higher education, it is appropriate to this period in Simmons's history. With stable finances, appropriate debt ratios, robust cash reserves, and expanded enrollment at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, Simmons recently undertook a dramatic reimagining of its academic structure that includes the creation of four new Colleges.

Since 2013, enrollment of undergraduate first-year students has increased by approximately 20 percent, making Simmons the fastest growing institution dedicated to women's education. The new Director of Undergraduate Admission will build on this remarkable momentum and the institutional support for admission to help achieve the strategic enrollment goals of the College. Reporting directly to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management, the Director of Undergraduate Admission provides day-to-day leadership for a highly effective and experienced undergraduate admission team. Reflecting Simmons's culture, the Director serves as a visible and engaged institutional leader who fosters close partnerships with the College's many internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership, faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni and the college guidance community. The Director is an important contributor on the Vice President for Enrollment Management's division-wide Director team which includes Undergraduate Admission, Graduate Admission, Student Financial Services and Athletics.

The new Director of Undergraduate Admission will be an accomplished admission leader who can act as a driving force behind a best practices and forward-thinking admission operation. The successful candidate will demonstrate analytical strength and knowledge of cutting edge technologies in the enrollment arena and data reporting. The new Director will also possess exceptional leadership and change management capabilities; strong collaboration skills; deep dedication to educating and empowering women; and demonstrated commitment to social justice, diversity, equity and inclusion. A bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is desired.
