Job Summary
The College of Music at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks a full time Director of the Musicians' Wellness Program. This forward-looking individual should be committed to the continuing development of one of the premiere programs in the country. This full-time, tenure-track faculty appointment will commence in August of 2025. We are seeking someone whose approach to teaching and research is innovative and forward-thinking in service of evolving the program.

Who We Are
The Musicians' Wellness Program (MWP) has been an integral part of the College of Music since 1999. The program serves as the hub of wellness activities for the College of Music by providing academic and clinical services for students, faculty, and staff. The Director of the MWP works collaboratively with the embedded psychotherapist from Counseling and Psychiatric Services and other campus and community partners.

The College of Music offers degree programs in Performance, Jazz Studies, Composition, Theory, Musicology, and Music Education. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Direct, organize, and coordinate the Musicians' Wellness program.
- Teach courses and coordinate curriculum development.
- Work collaboratively with the College of Music's embedded psychotherapist and other campus and community partners.
- Collaborate with all stakeholders within the College of Music in advancing the well-being of students, faculty, and staff.
- Serve on graduate student advisory committees.
- Serve on other college and university service activities as appropriate.
- Participate in regional and national recruiting.
- Final assignment of duties will be based on the needs of the department and the expertise of the candidate.
What You Should Know
The appointment will be a full-time Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, tenure track.

What We Can Offer
- The annual Salary Range is
- $70,500 - $79,000 for an Assistant Professor,
- $79,500 - $92,500 for an Associate Professor,
- $93,000 - $110,000 for a Full Professor.
- Possible summer research stipend. Onboarding assistance is available within department guidelines.

What We Require
- Master's degree or higher plus a distinguished record of professional, creative and/or scholarly activities (e.g. conference presentations, journal articles, books, workshops, etc.).
- Certification and/or experience providing a wellness-based practice (e.g. Alexander Technique, Body Mapping, Feldenkrais, Yoga, Psychotherapy, Physical Therapy, Medicine).
- 3 years of teaching experience in a related field.
- Experience working with musicians.
- Experience in one or more of the following: program development & leadership, grant writing, and fundraising.
