Position Summary:
The primary location of this position is the main Cullowhee, NC campus.
The Assistant Director of Clinical Services is responsible for overseeing the clinical services provided by CAPS. The responsibilities include: Titanium Schedule administration and management; organizing and maintaining the scheduling of triage services and daytime and end of day coverage; coordinating ProtoCall after hours crisis coverage and follow-up procedures; overseeing the case assignment, case review, and chart review procedures; providing oversight to the Clinical Services Team; coordinating the client experiences survey each semester; participating on the Administration Team (with Director and Training Director) to assist with the organization and integration of clinical services into all services provided by CAPS; and maintaining involvement in professional organizations, research initiatives, and other professional development activities relevant to collegiate mental health and the provision of clinical services in university counseling center settings.

The Assistant Director of Clinical Services provides counseling services for students including individual and group therapy, outreach programming, and crisis services; provides clinical supervision to doctoral and master's level interns; develops and maintains strong relationships with campus colleagues in order to provide services which meet the assessed needs of campus; and provides administrative duties as requested or assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required for this position:
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer-sponsorship.A completed master's degree or doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work. Three years of post-graduate clinical counseling experience service. Demonstrated experience in providing crisis intervention services. Experience working in a college counseling center providing services to diverse students, faculty, and staff. Eligibility to be licensed (at a master's or doctoral level) to provide mental health care in the state of North Carolina by hire date. Once licensed, NC licensure must be maintained to remain employed.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least four years of post-graduate clinical counseling experience.A minimum of two years as a staff member in a university counseling center setting. Experience with Titanium Schedule. Experience with assessment, program development, and quality assurance.
