Position Summary
Reporting to the Director for Reunion Programs and Affinity Groups, the Assistant Director for Reunions and Affinity Chapters assists with the planning and execution of Fordham's reunion and Homecoming events, as well as alumni affinity chapter programs.
This position has extensive responsibility for customer support, volunteer management, webpage management, and on-site logistics for alumni events.
This position will require periodic evening and weekend assignments, including but not limited to the Wednesday through Sunday of each Jubilee Weekend, the week of the Block Party at Lincoln Center, and the week of Homecoming.

Essential Functions
- Leads onboarding of new affinity chapter leaders. Assists existing affinity chapter volunteer leadership with event planning, marketing, and execution.
- Creates and manages email campaigns and attendee-facing webpages for events.
- Manages database queries and reporting for email marketing, direct mail, and texting.
- In coordination with the Associate Director, serves as key phone and email customer service contact reunion and Homecoming events.
- Manages housing requests and placements for Jubilee Weekend.
- Manages affinity chapter events, membership, and expenditure data.
- Partners with the Associate Director and Director for on-site setup, breakdown, check-in, and related logistics at reunion and affinity events.
- Coordinates with the Associate Director to manage event reunion data, including post-event surveys and reporting.

- Assists with other priorities, projects, duties, and events as assigned.
- Manages reunion and Homecoming event supplies and inventory.
- Analyzes and shares feedback from registrants and student staff to improve both online and onsite experience; makes suggestions to improve registration systems and alumni experience after each event.
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple projects.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; ability to learn new technologies and proprietary systems, including Anthology Encompass, Cvent, and Fordham applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated dedication to customer service and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, adaptability to changing circumstances, and a proven track record of taking on responsibilities and leading new initiatives.
- Able to work effectively with evolving priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work both independently and within a team.
- High level of organization and exceptional interpersonal skills. Highly skilled at collaborating and interacting with diverse constituencies, including alumni, donors, campus partners, and vendors.
- Adheres to deadlines and follows through on all projects.
- Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
