Position Description
Performs administrative duties in the management and coordination of a large specialized project and program. Performs varied and complex administrative duties requiring independent judgment and the application of established policies and procedures. May provide supervision and direction to clerical, paraprofessional or professional staff members.
Major/Essential Functions
- Lead the day to day operations and functions of On Track within Red Raider Academic Success (RRAS), including the hiring, training, supervising, and developing of assigned full time, part time, and student staff.
- Manage and maintain policies and operating procedures for On Track.
- Oversee the recurring training and development plan for On Track staff.
- Oversee Student Success Campaigns for On Track including but not limited to the Non-Attendance Alert and the Midterm Grade Alert within Raider Success Hub (Salesforce).
- Establish working partnerships within Academic Innovation & Student Success, Academic Colleges, and Enrollment Management to effectively execute OnTrack.
- Stay connected to emerging research, best practices, and student experience needs and offer recommendations, innovative ideas, and solutions to ongoing student success challenges.
- Serve as the Online learning lead for On Track.
- Work with Senior Director for RRAS to establish and maintain standards for evaluation and assessment of On Track.
- Works in partnership with Senior Director for RRAS and Associate Director for SD&E Finances to maintain a process for purchasing and budget record keeping for assigned budget.
- Serves as back up to the Senior Director for Red Raider Academic Success and supports other staff and stakeholders on their behalf as appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in the area of specialization or closely related field. Four years of related administrative and technical experience. Additional job related education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Higher Education or Administration, Student Affairs or related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in student development, academic advising, coaching, or mentorship in a college or university.
- Two (2) years of experience working directly with First Year, Transfer, First-Gen or students in Academic Recovery.
- Two (2) years of supervising experience
- Experience developing training curriculum
- Experience generating, assessing, and reporting on data
- Experience working with or leading committee work
